Our Mission | Membership | Officers

 
 

The Society consists of three types of members: active members, members in training, and honoary lifetime members. In addition, individuals and organizations making financial contribution to the IPS shall be eligible for designation as sponsors of the Society. All members enjoy reduced registration to our general meetings, access to our newsletter and blogsite and regular mailings from our Secretary.

Active Members - Full Membership $100/2 years
Individuals having a continuing scientific interest in the field of proteolysis and related disciplines shall be eligible for active membership in the Society.

Members in training - Member in Training $40/2 years
Individuals who are predoctoral students in fields relating to proteolysis or who have received their doctoral degrees in those fields within the preceding three years and who have been recommended by the academic advisor in writing shall be eligible for election as a member in training of the Society.

Honorary Lifetime Members
This membership is presented to individuals with a long record of service to the protease community.

We have recently set up a membership subscription system that allows secure on-line payment by credit card using PayPal. You do not need have a PayPal account and can make payment by credit card or direct bank payment.

Travel awards may also be available for members in training to attend IPS meetings.If you have questions about membership, please contact Rob Pike or Bruce Linebaugh.
